Unfortunately, not every lawsuit is won. Judges and juries do make mistakes. If that is the case the remedy is to appeal.

To initiate an appeal from a county court or district court, the appeal process must generally be started within 30 days of the date the judge signs the judgment. Appeals from the Justice Courts and temporary injunctions have much shorter appeal deadlines.

Appeals generally go to the Court of Appeals and then, if necessary, to the Supreme Court of Texas.
